Articulate Castle

Pacific Bloodstock has secured on a lease basis, this beautifully bred filly by boom sire Art Major. John Bagshaw bred and owns the filly, he also bred and owns Rhodium Castle ~ a Raceapacer success story.

Articulate Castle, as she has been named, not only has  a champion stallion as his sire, he also has the immaculately bred mare Talk To Me as her mother.

Talk To Me is the dam of two superstar fillies, they being Mother Courage and Tandias Courage. Mother Courage won more than $450,000 in her career, including four Group One races and a Bendigo Cup defeating the cream of Australia's best pacers (both male and female) of the time. Tandias Courage was a duel Group One winner of more than $300,000 with a career best mile rate of 1:53.

This filly is eligible for the Vicbred Program and the Australasian Breeders Crown.

One of the main benefits of the Vicbred Program is the Vicbred Win Bonus. This is a $5,000 bonus paid for her first win in Victoria as a 2yo or 3yo.

Jayne Davies has been selected to train this filly and her record as a trainer of juveniles, especially juvenile fillies has no peer in Australia. Some of the fillies she has trained include Tailamade Lombo, Lombo La Fe Fe and last year's Breeders Crown champion Aussie Made Lombo.

This horse will be leased until the end of her four year old year. After that she will be returned to her breeder John Baghaw.
