Team Miles and Raceapacer win again
David and Lisa Miles continued their recent great run with a double at Yarra Valley yesterday with one of the winners being Raceapacer's Braeview Warrior.
After recent strong trial form, confidence was high despite the wide barrier. David took Braeview Warrior back from this alley and things were looking grim after a pedestrian 34.6 2nd quarter. David pulled him out to make his run and after a four way battle down the home straight, Braeview Warrior got there in the last stride. It was a great effort with the last 800m run in 59 seconds and he was 3 wide without cover for the entire time.
Braeview Warrior earned first prizemoney of $3,375 and also the lucravtive Vicbred Win Bonus of $5,000.
