Cassie rated an odds on chance

Cassie has been rated a $1.50 chance to return to the winner's circle at Tabcorp Park this Friday afternoon (see fields here). With Gavin Lang returning to the sulky and a much inferior field than last start, it all points to a successful afternoon for the syndicate.....fingers crossed!!

Below is HRV form analyst Michael Polster's thoughts for the race.

TOP PICK: RHODIUM CASTLE (3) sprint laned to victory here four runs ago and her three efforts since then have been very good, especially her latest fourth to Mark Dennis on this circuit last week where she made up plenty of ground from the rear in a slick last half.  She is beautifully placed here with the mares’ concession and is clearly the one they have to beat.

DANGER: YELLOW DIAMOND (2) had a tough run in the breeze here last start and although well beaten into third behind the classy Our Miss Vivienne, she wasn’t disgraced, as she was the one putting the pressure on in the early stages.  She has been running some cheeky races of late at odds and has a sneaky chance of upsetting this favourite from the ideal alley.

OTHERS: TAGGING (1) didn’t have the best of luck when third to Summa Of Dreams at Charlton start in slick time for the short course and from the one hole she is sure to be right in the thick of things at the business end.  She is the only other one capable of knocking off RHODIUM CASTLE (3).  MAKE A FUSS (8), STUCK UP (9) and CORUBA RUN (6) are the key place hopes
